Now I am finally reading "The Silence of the Lambs". Not for the plot as I've seen the film, but for the details. For the nuances.
I was going to write in Russian, but when I typed the title "Vs." I decided to write in English, as it's interesting for me to express thoughts in English. Firstly, because I haven't got any chance to do it somewhere else. Secondly, I have to be quite accurate with words to make myself clear and that will make me think what actually I want to say. Finally, I have no idea of what my silent readers prefer me to do and I just do what I want.Well, sticking to the point...

While I am reading the book I have got interested in the relationhips between Clarice and Hannibal (Certainly it woulld be strange if I haven't). Because these relationships are quite typical. She is young, honest, and ambitious. He all of a sudden finds that nice and pretty. I've got about a half of the book to finish but it seems to me that their relationships are not going to change. I hope this book or the following one give me some answers why it is so.
I really shoud give some examples, but I didn't write them down and I just don't want to look for them now throughout the text. Moreover, in my humble opinion it would be worth doing if there was a possibility to compare these relationships with Will-Hannibal relationships, for example.
I think I won't be mistaken if I say that if we speak about Will-Hannibal relationships we mean Hannigram created by Bryan Fuller.
And as I mention Bryan Fuller I think this also makes pointless any comparison between these "pairs". Since we've talked about the book and the series.
But the point is how he is builds up their relationships. He shows them equal, independent, and, moreover, self-sufficient. Though Will sometimes can be seen as a somehow fragile person but he can manage his feelings, he is interesting as a person, he's quite complete even in his incomplitness. This Will doesn't seek for anybody. That's why he draws our attention as well as Hannibal's. I am really glad to see such a character, such a person. I don't also think that genger defines here anything. The equality issue here is much more important and much more impressive in terms of a strong personality presentation. We don't have to think why he (Hannibal) does this or that, because we can see why. That's very enjoyable. The most enjoyable thing about these characters.
You see the book was only an excuse to talk about my beloved Hannigram.
